I cant play serious sam I installed Windows Xp and now I cant play it. :bawling: :bawling: :bandhead: :bandhead:

It runs before i installed XP.
256mb, Elitegroup k7s5a motherboard, Radeon 7500 videocard

Hmm the only idea I have is that windows XP needs more Ram than the other windows versions. I think it needs about 128 MB ram. Maybe that's the problem that your Ram is not big enough :dunno:

what do you have for an internet connection?

Have you tried different servers? Do you see the lag on some servers but not others?

When I stand, its no laggy but when I run jump or fire than my ping go up to 8000. :bawling:

Are you running any other apps that may be sucking ping
from Sam? Use ctrl alt del and look at the other processes.

Sounds like you might have other things running in the background, or possibly you need to update your vid drivers,,,I had to update all motherboard, lan, vid sound everything.

Hi:
I doubt the ip is your problem. XP puts a lot more stress on the system than does 98. You may not have
a fast enough system to do both XP and ssam. If you don&#39;t want to upgrade anything,
then you can possibly set your system up as a dual boot system. If you have two hard drives,
this is easy, you would just install 98 to the other drive and tell your system to boot from it.
If you have only one drive, then it is not so easy, you would have to reinstall windows 98
into a different system folder (like win98) and then reinstall XP into the XP folder (you probably
have it was windows). Then when XP boots, it gives you an option to boot 98 or XP, and
you run 98 for ssam.

We need to run it past our GM Counsel Rep (Die Hard) and have him get it straightened out. I don&#39;t think your supposed to have two memberships. I&#39;ll send Die Hard a PM and see what he can do. You will probably here something back from him or me, or even one of the other MODS. I take it you want to use the Black-Devil with the dash in it? Why did you want to change it anyways? I guess I don&#39;t even understand because they are so close to the same thing?
