They didn't lose any big players, or major salary caps or injuries or (i believ) coaching changes. What is it? Oh yeah....The rest of the NFL found out to defend against them. (Nelson voice) Ha-Ha!

Who cares, our baseball team starts the playoffs Tuesday....and this IS baseball city, USA after all.......

BTW the cover two defense is not the secret defense that can stop the Rams. The 49ers and Falcons have been playing that for years without a hint of success

I can't argue with that. That was pretty bad. The thing is I like the Rams and the Vikings. Packers are another of my favorites.

Yep thats why the Niners had 16 consecutive 10+ wins seasons dating back to the 80's, and 5 super bowl victories. Yep it hasnt worked that great huh? Its a copy cat league.

I forget what they called it, but it wasn't the cover two that's run today. That defense was a modified 3-4 where the safeties rotated around to one side of the field. Today's cover two was started at U of Miami I believe...
