Has eneyone had eney trouble tring to burne a copie of QUAKE 1,2,and3? I was just woundering. I just talked to this guy at Haystines....its a electronis store here. And he was telling me him and a bunch of other guys were having a LAN Party DEC 14&15. They will be playing SSSE,U2K,and a couple of more games. They have had 2 before playing QUAKE and DOOM and some other game. Cant rember it though. But eney way can you burn QUAKE 1,2,and3?

I've made a "backup" of Quake3 with CloneCD.

Quake3 is burnable. I burned it for a friend. Quake1 and Quake2 even though I should have bought I received through other ways. Quake1 works (get tenebare mod!) and Quake2 works (I patched to 3.20 and have played online A LOT recently).

I use Nero Burning Rom and it rocks

Nero is OK. I use it for making compilation disks but it can not get passed some of the protectios they are using now days.

I havent encoutered any probelems yet, cant you download cracks though to by-pass them?

You guys are trying to make copies of these CD's purely for backup purposes, right? :wink:

Cause Sal has made it pretty clear that warez is a no-no. I really don't think anyone here would do that though. :D

Adaptec Easy CD Creator 4 is what program i have. It came with my comp.

the best combi for Burning protected CDs for backup is CloneCD and ClonyXXL

first run Clony to figure out what protection it is then CloneCD to burn it!
