Optimus Prime was swimming in the Hole just now. Lots of witnesses. He admitted it and was a real ass about it. Ban his ass! We're gonna get rid of these sombitches one by one until there are no more swimmers! :x

concrete swimming is the last resort for people that suck...

The floor swimming craze really seems to be catching on unfortunately.... :( :( :(
When he came first place, he swam once.
I said "Opt please dont do that, cause you will get kicked"
Ill email him, but if its someone else, I get him...
Actually, I'll bet Sean123 could fix the map. It would be a custom map after that, but if we could get everyone to download it it wouldn't be a problem. The Hole is lots of fun except for the swimmers.

Yea, I would say that you are walking a fine line between staying, and being banned. I know I get tired of some of the stuff ya post. If you want a forum so bad, just do some recruiting and get more members. After that, I am sure Sal would set you up with your own forums.

I say ban all swimmers. I know it would be tough, but maybe if word got out that we don't f*** around, maybe they wouldn't do it. Most of the time it does bother me. Just in hole it they are camping in the cannon room, that is what pisses me off.
Just wondering and a thought, is there a way for me to see IP's if I am on someones server. For instance, if I was on one of the Jerclan servers, and someone joins or what have you and starts swimming, flaming, ect. ect. enough to be banned, how would I go about obtaining an IP? If there is like a permission that has to be given, I wouldn't mind watching over the servers late night. I am usually on from little after 11 till about 3am central time. Just food for thought. :P
I played a game the night before last where the swimmer stayed on the steps above the grenade launcher. He was impossible to get because you could not approach him from above and you could not see him from below to hit him with a rocket.
I tried to rush up the steps a few times but was killed well before I even got close - he just had too much time to nail me. Getting the invisibilty was impossible because he could pump grenades directly into the invisibility cave-thingy.
The worst part was that from his location he could grenade-spam the steps, grenade launcher area, pool area, minigun area, shotgun area (ricochets), and the steps down to the main floor. He was even managing to get some grenades to bounce onto the main floor. It totally sucked. Much worse than a cannon camper above the lava.
Damn I hate cheater-swimmers! :mad:

Hey Sirc, it is possible to kill them when they are swimming and spamming on the steps. I tried your methods, and I had the same results. Best thing to do, get the RL and then get the invulerabiliy and run up there and you can tell where he is, by where the gernades are coming from. Did that several times night before last, and it worked pretty well. Invulnerability rules for getting campers and swimmers, unless they are camping in the cannon room.

Ya know, even if ya were the swimmer, and I'm not saying you are or anything, but we're a pretty forgiving bunch. Any swimmer that has been banned and agrees to quit doing it would probably be unbanned. NO ONE is really permanently banned from anything as long as they straighten up and fly right.
We are in a unique position here because we control the most popular SS servers. We can, and will, enforce the rules. :D

Slash and the others were in a clan called Jerc. They joined with us not long ago but kept the server name since it is well known. Hope that answers your question.
Actually they aren't all called Jerclan. The Houston ones are because they are run by the former JERC clan. The JERC clan and the OUTLAWS merged and became one clan a a couple months ago. There is also a Detroit GameMecca server (run by the MERCS), a California GameMecca sever (sometimes, run by the GODS), and a New York GameMecca server (sometimes, run by the DOA). Well, I probably screwed that up, but you get the idea.

Mostly because the you can't tell the difference in the game browser as the name is so long the end gets cut off. So for instance when we are playing at work and we have just finished a game and Angymann yells "hey Slash, what server are you going to?" He couldn't tell which one was which from inside the game. I hope this convoluted explanation makes sense.
