I usually play every Monday starting about June. I hate playing earlier as the ground it so wet. The ball plugs and it's tough hitting shots when the ground is soaked. Last year I had a buddy that worked at a private club so I got to play every Monday for free. I think I only paid for two rounds last year.

IT is the one sport that can piss a person off more than anything.
Expensive yes. I have snapped for clubs and hit more balls into the water then I can count.

Golf is great. I played yesterday. Shot a 90. Had six pars and a birdie, and also bladed a 9 iron right through the nice foursome of old people playing right in front of us standing at the next tee box... I yelled "fore" but I don't think their hearing aides were turned on...

Congrats to Mike Wier...

Good score, Clean.

I will hit 100 at most though I go for golf this week. :bawling:

The charge of the Japanese golf course is too expensive.

I usually top 100 myself. That was my first round of 18 this year. I always shoot the best my first time out, and then it gets worse and worse all year... :bawling:

If I didn't play so much softball it would help tremendously, since that swing screws up my golf swing so much... :bandhead:

Thanks to being playing baseball, too my swing is too improper.

But, What I can't believe happens.

I recorded Eagle last autumn. (at Per5) ;)

An Eagle? Damn, that's awesome. I came about three inches from a hole in one a few years back. That's as close as I've come to an eagle...

Last year playing on a private course for free (friend works there). I got an Eagle on a par 4. I was a little over a 100 yards away and holed it. We didn't play the next week, but played the week after. I didn't have one birdie that round and got to the 18th hole and I was a little over 100 yards away again on a par 4. Hit a great shot and my buddy said it went in. I laughed and said "You Ass". Got up to the pin and he was right. Two eagles in consecutive rounds. More or less luck as I really am not that good. I normally shoot about 85. Looking forward to getting out to play, but probably won't start playing till the end of May or beginning of June. My brother is a great golfer (Was the captain of the University of Minn golf team). He is about a 2 handicap and when we play he hands me my butt everytime. I am happy with beating him on one hole a round.

Where I live the golf season is too damn short,
maybe 4-5 months.  But it is cheap.

Golf can be almost done in Japan all the year round. (Except for the day of the snow.)

But, A charge is too expensive. :bawling:

Usually, it is necessary at our golf competition by about 250 dollars-300 dollars.

Furthermore, 100 dollars are necessary at the beer party after the end. :drink:

I would go just for the party :D :drink:

I used to back in the day, like when I was in shape and could walk and pull my clubs around the local 9 hole course. But since I found out about beer, well, I couldn't hit the dam ball where I wanted to sober, so forget that. I bowl now. The ball always comes back to ya and you never have to look for it either :D

My drinking team has a bowling addiction
