does anyone know how to lower your ping on ssse.? (without chaning internet services)




ps....i tried to find out on seriously forums...now i know why you all left that horid place...it sucks :bandhead:

You can't really lower your ping, but you can do some things to decrease lag,
like kill unnecessary programs ctl-alt-del & end program,
kill unnecessary startup programs (type start->run then msconfig, look at the startup tab)
lower your screen resolution for ssam, set video to speed,
get ad-aware if you get a lot of internet popup windows,
maybe get more memory...

For TUW, you need to do the opposite, run more proggies, turn
resolution up, etc, to even things out a little :-)

No, serious though, it seems like all servers have been lagged the past week or so...
