First Encounter.

Does anyone here play First Encounter??
I played today for first time. That's me the "noob" (But I had the game for over a year)
Only one death match map though.

I don't like the Desert Temple map because the only good weapon is the Tommy Gun. :blink:

That Saddam guy is an obvious expert.
He just spawn kills everyone...LOL.


Maybe we need a Gamemecca server that rotates first edition custom maps.
I would be interested to try them.

Tommy gun is indeed the default weapon in SS1

some old skool CF players like Remu$ play SS FE occasionally

I hadn't played FE in quite awhile, But for some reason lastnight I decided to jump on Viper's Pit and see what's up. :thumbs:

Yeh I noticed there was a Viper's pit server.

I am going to Seriously! and see if there are any good deathmatch maps that I like.

Any recomendations?

That is where I started also. I didn't much care for the second encounter for a while, but slowly moved over to it. I was playing first edition a bit last saturday. It was funny as I won against a bunch of regular players and they were pissed some noob was fraggin the death out of them. Tommy-gun is definately the weapon of choice, and you can kill from one side of the map to the other.

But, I don't play much in Viper's Pit (it sucks for me, ping 350!!!). When I play there I have always alias.
I'm mostly in >>Dedic -CF- server (v.1.05).


I don't use 3rd person. I think it's a lot easier to aim with 1st person.

<<Dedic CF server is good , but it&#39;s for 16 players and it laags when there is 5 or 6 players :cool:

There is a lot of fall damage on Desert Temple.
And you get it a lot flying through the air on the jump pads.
