[50 Cent]

In Da Club

Go, go, go, go
Go, go, go shawty

We gon' sip Bacardi like it's your birthday
And you know we don't give a ****
It's not your birthday!

[Chorus] (2x)
You can find me in the club, bottle full of bub
Look mami I got the X if you into taking drugs
I'm into having sex, I ain't into making love
So come give me a hug if you into to getting rubbed

[Verse]
When I pull out up front, you see the Benz on dubs
When I roll 20 deep, it's 20 knives in the club
*****s heard I **** with Dre, now they wanna show me love
When you sell like Eminem, and the hoes they wanna ****
But homie ain't nothing change, hoe's down, G's up
I see Xzibit in the cut hey ***** roll that weed up
If you watch how I move you'll mistake me for a playa or pimp
Been hit wit a few shells but I dont walk wit a limp
In the hood, in L.A. they saying "50 you hot"
They like me, I want them to love me like they love 'Pac
But holla in New York them *****s'll tell ya I'm loco
And the plan is to put the rap game in a choke hold
I'm fully focused man, my money on my mind
I got a mill out the deal and I'm still on the grind
Now shawty said she feeling my style, she feeling my flow
Her girlfriend willin to get bi and they ready to go

[Chorus] (2x)

[Bridge]
My flow, my show brought me the doe
That bought me all my fancy things
My crib, my cars, my pools, my jewels
Look ***** I done came up and I ain't changed

[Verse]
And you should love it, way more then you hate it
***** you mad? I thought that you'd be happy I made it

Here's another one.

I LIKE BEER! BY Tom T. Hall

I LIKE BEER

In some of my songs I have casually mentioned
The fact that I like to drink beer
This little song is more to the point
Roll out the barrel and lend me your ears

(Chorus)
I like beer. It makes me a jolly good fellow
I like beer. It helps me unwind and sometimes it makes me feel mellow (Makes him feel mellow)
Whiskey's too rough, champagne costs too much, vodka puts my mouth in gear
This little refrain should help me explain as a matter of fact I like beer
(He likes beer)

My wife often frowns when we're out on the town
And I'm wearing a suit and a tie
She's sipping vermouth and she thinks I'm uncouth
When I yell as the waiter goes by

(Chorus)

Last night I dreamed that I passed from the scene
And I went to a place so sublime
Aw, the water was clear and tasted like beer
Then they turned it all into wine (awww)

I like beer. It makes me a jolly good fellow
I like beer. It helps me unwind and sometimes it makes me feel mellow (Makes him feel mellow)
Whiskey's too rough, champagne costs too much, and vodka puts my mouth in gear
Aw, this little refrain should help me explain as a matter of fact I love beer
(Yes, he likes beer) :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink:

I like old school rap. I have this gem on vinyl by Run-DMC.

"Sucker M.C.'s"

[Run]
Two years ago, a friend of mine
Asked me to say some MC rhymes
So I said this rhyme I'm about to say
The rhyme was Def a-then it went this way
Took a test to become an MC
And Orange Krush became amazed at me
So Larry put me inside, his Cad-illac
The chaffeur drove off and we never came back
Dave cut the record down to the bone
And now they got me rockin on the microphone
And then we talkin autograph, and here's the laugh
Champagne caviar, and bubble bath
But see ahh, ah that's the life, ah that I lead
And you sucker MC's is who I please
So take that and move back catch a heart attack
Because there's nothin in the world, that Run'll ever lack
I cold chill at a party in a b-boy stance
And rock on the mic and make the girls wanna dance
Fly like a Dove, that come from up above
I'm rockin on the mic and you can call me Run-Love

I got a big long Caddy not like a Seville
And written right on the side it reads 'Dressed to Kill'
So if you see me cruisin girls just a-move or step aside
There ain't enough room to fit you all in my ride
it's on a, ah first come, first serve basis
Coolin out girl, take you to the def places
One of a kind and for your people's delight
And for you sucker MC, you just ain't right
Because you're bitin all your life, you're cheatin on your wife
You're walkin round town like a hoodlum with a knife
You're hangin on the ave, chillin with the crew
And everybody know what you've been through

Ah with the one two three, three to two one
My man Larry Larr, my name DJ Run
We do it in the place with the highs and the bass
I'm rockin to the rhythm won't you watch it on my face
Go Uptown and come down to the ground
You sucker MC's, you bad face clown
You five dollar boy and I'm a million dollar man
Youse a sucker MC, and you're my fan
You try to bite lines, but rhymes are mine
Youse a sucker MC in a pair of Calvin Klein
Comin from the wackest, part of town
Tryin to rap up but you can't get down
You don't even know your english, your verb or noun
You're just a sucker MC you sad face clown
So D.M.C. and if you're ready
The people rockin steady
You're drivin big cars get your gas from Getti

[D.M.C.]
I'm D.M.C. in the place to be
I go to St. John's University
And since kinde-garten I acquired the knowledge
And after 12th grade I went straight to college
I'm light skinned, I live in Queens
And I love eatin chicken and collard greens
I dress to kill, I love the style
I'm an MC you know who's versatile
Say I got good credit in your regards
Got my name not numbers on my credit cards
I go Uptown, I come back home
with who me myself and my microphone
All my rhymes are sweet delight
So here's another one for y'all to bite
When I rhyme, I never quit
And if I got a new rhyme I'll just say it
Cause it takes a lot, to entertain
And sucker MC's can be a pain
You can't rock a party with the hip in hop
You gotta let em know you'll never stop
The rhymes have to make (a lot of sense)
You got to know where to start (when the beats commence..)

Eminem starred in his acting debut in the film "8 Mile'', and 50 cent was the main artist, along with Eminem, on the 8 Mile soundtrack for the movie.

that music sucks and the people who sing it are as intelligent as a stone. ever listen to one of thos eliterate bastards in an interview? you hear "you know what im saying" after every sentence. rap was better back in the days.... well.... ok it never was. anyone can put words together and change the sound of the words to make sound like they rhyme. next time you are bopping your head to one of these thugs tunes, try to listen to the lyrics and see how many times they use a word that has nothing to do with the song to make it ryhme. i can't understand why or how people think this is music. no wonder why people are so full of hate and deceit. this what you are listening to. i like all kinds of music but this stuff just sucks imo. its amazing how lyrics have changed through the years. they use to sing about love and cars now its boom boom boom ( all stolen music from the rock bands) and lyrics that sound like a 7 yr old wrote.

it's not the rap i dislike, it's the attitude and what it sports. i actually like eminems lyrics for the most part but hate the cursing which i think ruins his talent. i do not actually have a favorite type of music. i can listen to anything aslong as there is no cursing or stupid gangster stuff. i guess that what sells today. ever listen to the oldies? motown? i am 31 yrs old and love that music because they had great talent and sang with feeling. i actually just started listening to country about 2 years ago. i can enjoy music if the lyrics make sense and the person is singing with heart.

does anyone agree with my point why i dislike it?

Let's face it, rap is lame, and can hardly be called music. And by the very nature of the genre, most of it sounds pretty much the same. It's just shock theatre. See how controversial you can get, and see how much vulgarity you can fit into one song.

Who would have ever though that a white girl named Blondie would have started such a dumb fad. :P

You guys are missing my point. Look at these threads:

http://www.gamemecca.net/forums/index.php?...=ST&f=1&t=12111 (http://www.gamemecca.net/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=1&t=12111)

I hate these kinds of threads. They're junk that my computer illiterate relatives who think Family Circus is funny were forwarding to me e-mail box 3 years ago. I didn't they were funny then, I don't think they're funny now.

Now, hey, I have a right to my opinions, and I could go post in those threads and say "Wow, a dead bunny. That's not funny. That's not even offensive. It's just stupid." But that wouldn't add anything to those threads. I just keep my opinions to myself and let those who find it funny enjoy themselves instead of being an asshole.

Sorry, but even in terms of other rap your song sucks duder.

And I thought this was kind of offensive, "i can't understand why or how people think this is music. no wonder why people are so full of hate and deceit. this what you are listening to."

So rap music is what makes people so full of hate and deciet, huh? Forgive me, but I disagree.

I wouldn't really wouldn't mind if you guys had some arguements that were actually valid and not, "Rap is all swearing and talking about shooting people and just boom boom boom with no music." There are some rap songs that are like that, but there are some punk and rock songs lick that too. Most are not.

If you don't like rap, just say, "I don't like rap music," instead of saying its stupid and you can't understand how anyone could like it. It makes you sound like you're implying that you think anyone who listens to it must also be stupid.

ok thats true which i pointed out my point which i thought was clear. i usually judge on majority and the majority of the top rappers today rap about crime and curse all over the songs. this is not done as much in any other form of music. i should of pointed out that that heavy screaming rock also is bad but i didnt because the conversation was about rap. also i was referring to the characters of the rap groups. now i can's see where you don't think there are valid points. i also said or mention how lyrics have changed through the years which i was referring to all music. now you tell me some real classy rappers.

oh phoenix, public enemy were white haters. good ol chuck is just like the kkk but on the other side. that doesnt get looked at though because he is not white.

Wait, where did I single out your son's post anyway? I don't see where I picked on him anywhere.

And if you worry about him getting "singled out," well, you know how these forums work. Maybe you should be more careful about letting him read or post here if you're so worried about. I'm not trying to go after 12 and 13 year olds, but on the other hand I'm not going to double check every post I make to make sure I'm not saying something 'mean' to a younger kid.

And I don't see how this is a freedom a speech issue either. I don't care if you want to say rap sucks. Go ahead and make a million "Rap isn't music!" threads if you want, I'll stay out of them. I'm just asking you guys if you would be nice enough to keep it out of the threads where it obviously wasn't intended to be that sort of thread.

YOuu could have not posted in the thread ethier. I respect that you guys dont like it but i do. I did not start this thread so that people could argue over what music is good and what music is bad! I simply wanted people ,who like rap, opinion on what was the best "rap" song ever not to start a thread where people can argue over f#cking music ok. just wanted others opinoin on good rap music.

I donot mean to discras anybody ok. just telling the truth why i started this thread.
