I just got a thermaltake xaser III case, very nice I love it. The thing I cant figure out how to do is hook up the external headphone and mic jacks. I have a asus a7a266 mobo without onboard audio so there is no sound connectors on the mother board. I am running a sound blaster live 5.1 for a sound card. Where should I hook up the headphone and mic wires??????? I hope that someone can help me with this. Thanks in advance.

:hmmm: What kind of connector do the wires going to the back of the jack have?

They plug into the mobo. There are a ton of wires you have to hook up if you want to use the jacks on the top of the case. My mobo had everything on it I needed, so I didn't bother hooking them up. Other then I wanted to get it fired up, that could be done later too :D

Does the sound card have pins on it for internal connectors?
If not, then you can't make it work, unless you plug a cable into
the back and run it back into the case to the connectors,
probably not something you want to do...

EDIT: whoops,
ok, I looked up the specs on creatives site. It shows a 20 pin header, but that is for connecting to a digital i/o card or live drive.
take a look here, and see if that is what you have

sorry, but it looks like you may have to rig something

I checked with Thermaltake and I guess I'm stuck. Until I can figure something out. It's not that big of a deal anyway. I doubt that I would use the mic much and I rarely use headphones. I just wanted to take advantage of all of the features that this case has. It will just be a couple of less wires inside the case anyway. Thanks everyone for helping me out.
