in a private game you can do anything you want as long as it ok with who you are playing.
if you are testing something, do it in a private game or start your own server.

Ground swimming can only be done in 1.05. It was fixed in 1.07.

Not true. I do it sometimes on accident coming out of the pool on hole or the lava at fortress and ppl tell me to stand up, and I don't even realize that I had been swimming. It still works in 1.07.

I have seen some people do it on the spwa server.
with cannon and unlimited ammo it can be pretty bad.
I didn't stick around, I don't see the use in wasting time
on games like that just to take someone out...

because you can buy the game at wal-mart for $9,
it probably no longer makes croteam (the developers) any
money, and spending time (=money) to fix ssam II is likely
not a priority for them. unfortunate for us.

actually it is pretty funny. when someone says in the game that there is a swimmer it seems like everyone in the game just goes on a special hunt just for swimmers. it is like nothing else matters only kill the swimmer.. :wootrock:
