Al Green
The Who
The Doors
Jimi Hendrix
Sam Cooke
Smashing Pumpkins
Dream Theater

I like Oldies and Classic Rock, for the most part. Not the stuff most people my age listen to.

Any dance & tecno music, Eminem, Jay Z, Linkin Park, and the greatest music artists ever:

Linkin Park is OKAY...the only song of theirs that i REALLY liked would have to be "One Step Closer". The shut-up part was GREAT :jammin:
311 is my band of choice, one of the few bands that sounds good live and in the studio. Some Rap is good but the rest sucks..Snoop Dogg, DMX, and Jay-Z are all fairly good.
Slipknot is a bit too heavy for me
and 80's music is for the old folks  j/k
Other than that anything that has a fast pace beat and good vocals is good for me. :wootrock:

Phobos
04-26-2003, 10:18 PM
Korn, Slipknot, Staind, Guano Apes, Millencolin, 3 Doors Down, :jammin:

Rage against the Machine, Tool, Papa Roach, ŽAŽ, Bad Religion, Clawfinger, :wootrock:

Crazy Town, Donots, Foo Fighters, Green Day, Hoobastank, Ill Nino, Linkin Park,

Incubus, Jimmy Eat World, Lagwagon, Lostprophets, Mad Caddies, No Fun AT All, :bawling:

No use for a name, NOFX, Oasis, POD, Pyogenesis, Rival Schools, Soil, Soulfly, Sum 41, :drink:

Waterdown and Zebrahead

Sometimes I prefer techno like "Cosmic Gate" and "Trance Allstars" :drink:

Man, if we ever have a get together, no music, please!

I have 1 Linkin Park CD, and it's pretty good, but I can't handle most of that type of music (Korn, Good Charlotte, Blink 182, etc).

If I can't understand what they are saying, chances are that I won't like it (unless it's the Kingsmen ;) )

Right now I'm listening to Warren Zevon (Van Owen, you bastard!). :jammin:

Anyone heard of him?

DMX has some good beats and rythm, but he is lyrically challenged.

Jay Z and Snoop got good lyrics that make sense and they have good beats. Jay Z and Snoop are in the top 5 rap artists of all time in my opinion :D

I'm all over the board, I like Chick Bands: Ani DiFranco, Indigo Girls, Tori Amos, but I also like the Pixies, Bad Religion, Tool, Smashing Pumpkins, Black Sabbath, the Doors and I am a techno junkie, give me DJ mixes any day and I'm a happy camper... And yes I love 80's music too!!! Depeche Mode, especially!!!

Oh yeah, this old girl loves Frank Sinatra and Harry Connick Jr. too!! And the Beatles... BTW has anyone heard anything besides the song on the radio by Evanescence? I like that song, I catch it occasionally when I'm in the car, just wondered if any else they did was worth listening to...
