Ok....the saga continues.

After hiding out in the mountains at an undisclosed location. LaSh ventured out into civilization once again. Only to discover the Farmers waiting for him with blazing torches. Once the farmers spotted him they began the chace. LaSh tired and beaten from his ordeal on the mountain was not fast enough to outrun the farmers. Faster and faster they came, gaining on him at every step. Finally, when they were only a few paces behing, LaSh let go of his secret weapon. Apparently, trail mix makes him a little gassy. The fumes from his buttocks were ignited by the flames of the torches and the fireball that followed sent the poor farmers (with singed eyebrows) running back to their homes and tossed poor LaSh back up on the mountain.

all depends on what you set your res at.

I've seen 2k4 run fine at 600 x 800 with a 1.6 P4 and a g-force ti 200 card and less than a gig of ram.

there are a few maps, like Ages that drain video cards, but it's up to you on your settings. I also prefer 16 bit color too.

granted, I run full tilt on my laptop with a 6800 card and a gig-o-ram :D

Probably not real well, I was running it on my athlon 2400 with 512 mb and a Ti4200 but not at the highest resolution.
