I downloaded the demo of ssam because the Belgian games review site summarised it as "mindless fragging" :P

combine that with some fast paced action and adrenaline thrilling games

Sam was an absolute blast in its day.
For me the best part was going from someone who had never played games to being able to compete with the legends such as Bones, Darktime and Hades.


I think a big dissapointment were the gold maps.


Some gripes with Croteam would be:
-the lack of support of custom maps.
-no decent bonus map packs.

Who knows when SS2 comes out but I can't wait. :w00t:

Like someone else had said about quake - some of the other games are like you are wearing lead boots!
I think that one of the best features in ssam is the knife - for running, jumping and cutting.
Some people enjoy seeing how many kills they can get using only the knife.
I also like the weapon variety. Everyone hates spammers, but who has not carpeted an area
with grenades? :-) The one thing I like/hate - the laser + sd. Now that is a lethal combination.

and a jillion players out there which is total chaos. the sam community
is more friendly. for sam, i start the game, go onto pisser&#39;s on FE and
have fun, or if on SE, on the gamemecca or outlaw servers and have fun.
it&#39;s real simple.
