I have been hearing some good things about the server since I reduced to only one port. People tell me it runs very nice now. Man...that game sure is a resource monger. Much more than I thought. It's still better than Sam in that respect, but when you get up around 12-14 players, even a Duron 1Gig starts to choke....

Like I said yesterday, I have ordered a XP1900+ processor for it, which should be here in a week or so. That should pump up the juice a bit :)

Also it is rumored that the first patch will lock out all warez players. Everything is tied to your CD key and player ID's so no amount of aliases or IP changes can get you around it. There is also a master ban list that will be integrated in the future so all servers can ban the same people if they wish.

I highly suggest you just buy the damn game. It's $40.

They have done a wonderful job of keeping pirates out of this game. It's one of those rare releases that I am most willing to pay the full price for. It's worth every penny to me.
