No Nob for awhile

I'll bet we don't hear from Nob for a few days. :(
The storm went west of Lafayette by about 10 miles, But it still hit land as a Cat 2 and had wind gusts to 90 mph. They got something like 6+" of rain in one hour and most of Lafayette is without electricity. There have been seven tornados sited so far since this morning.

It looks to turning east of us, I just hope Nob and family are OK and hope to hear from him soon.

Here is what he sent me:
I'm ALIVE !!!!! :-) We got hit pretty good by Lili. We have been without electricity since early Thursday morning and it is still not back up. I am writing this from work. We had a bunch of uprooted trees and downed electrc poles and such in my hood and all around Lafayette. My neighbors chiminey was sitting in his front yard and a big ass oak tree fell on another neighbor's house. Getting around is a bit like trail riding right now with all the debris in the roads. Did you guys get any of it there ? I should be on the forum a little later on but right now the phones are going nuts so I am very busy.

Never fear Nob is here :lol: . I keep trying to finish typing this post but the damn phone won't stop :x . Anyway we are all fine and my house took no damage which I was thankful for. I had brought in anything that could fly and layed down my basketball goal and tied it to a brick column.
Now if I could just get electricity back all would be good. Trying to sleep during the day with no AC or fans sucks and then get up to a cold shower is taking it's toll on me already. We have city power back here at work but the AC is still not working here either. My daughter and I went ride around and she took some picks with her web cam so hopefully I will have a few pics to post later if they came out.

Yes it was :shock: . We actually went outside when the eye passed over. It was really strange because the rain stopped and it was just a little wind. The whole neighborhood was out walking around checking out the damage and then it started backup again after a bit with the wind blowing in the opposite direction.

Yes Nob was prepared for this one :lol: Only bad thing was when the juice went out I had to force myself to drink all that beer so it would not go bad :P . There was no room for it in the ice chest. Luckily my jack doesn't have to be cold :D
