Actually if you really want to try to get up there (I think it is fun to do) ask Nick to ask FreeStyler for a demo because I know he has one recorded.

I don&#39;t have the game anymore so I can&#39;t.

But You can do it by the small builing that is near the chainsaw (chainsaw that is closer to the SD wire).
Try a server with normal difficulty so you can rocket jump with less damage.

Chyl is ok. He thrashed me soundly the other night in a 1v1.
I suppose that isn&#39;t hard to do, but he didn&#39;t use any cheap tricks,
so kudos for that. The tag thing can be a little much,
but he sticks with a few, unlike others, where you have to

Really I see the whole sam thing going downhill. With machines
declaration a few days ago, the sd whores have really come out.
That really ruins the game for me, so I won&#39;t do a 1v1 with a
whore, and with more people, i have to grab the sd. unlike others,
i am fairly easy to kill....

So now you have lots of servers and nobody to play. When I first
started (in dec) there were always people on, lots of clan members, etc.
I guess q3 is where things will have to go, although I think that
sam offers superior gameplay (not netcode), but with q3 you have 2500
servers and lots of people on at any given time.

That is what ruins the game that u can&#39;t play like u want&#33; Instead u have to follow certain unwritten "rukes" like no pups no cannon no this no that and so on&#33; That&#39;s why i hardly play sam anymore cause there if u play like u want to play u get called spammer, sd whore, rocket whore, shotty snob, Cannon whore , ...

It&#39;s ok if someone follows unwritten rules he thinks he need to follow but i hate it when they try to dictate those rules to other players or trash them if they play the game the way they wanna play it&#33; That&#39;s (besides the poor netcode) what makes more and more ppl leave Sam and go to other games where the people that play don&#39;t care how u play or what weapon u use or what pup u take&#33;

I don&#39;t really have much of a basis of comparison, ie: I only recently started playing quake,
but on it, it doesn&#39;t seem like you can spam (with their grenades)
there is no real hiding in dark corners
movement is a lot slower
knife/saw thingy is useless
rockets don&#39;t appear to have much of a blast radius
quad damage is bad but can be used by others and is not really a 1 shot kill
shotgun is weak
can you shoot rockets with shotgun?

i agree that pup&#39;s shouldn&#39;t be used in a 1 on 1 in sam cause they are too strong&#33; And those spammers and campers only have so much of a damage cause the servers are set to serious &#33; If they would be set to normal it would be a lot more difficult to spam someone away because then the weapons would do the same dmg as in the other games

As far as I am concerned, when you play 1 on 1 you shouldn&#39;t take the power ups at all. The person that gets the first kill will most likely have the edge in the game.
