He is the Red Wings, in my mind. They need his leadership.

They also need McCarty to play on his line because everyone is gonna take a run at him in the first month of the season and see how that knee is really holding up...

The Staff would do best if it didn't go for too big of an overhaul of the team. They only need a little tweaking.

I wouldn't worry about an overhaul. Look what happened when we lost in the first round in 2001 to LA. In that off season we picked up Hull, Robitaille, and Hasek.

BTW, I think if Fedorov leaves Selanne would land here. Neither one can perform in the playoffs so it would be an even trade off :D
