There are several versions of this board.
According to Asus if you have version 2.0 or later it will bew able to handle the 400mhz fsb processors that are soon to be available.

Big said that his board which is the same version as mine can use the 400mhz fsb.
My? is can it be done without advanceing the fsb in the bios or will it work with
just haveing the jumper set to 266/333

I think that you would have to spend some money.
Maybe you could do some overclocking, but the
system is old, the video card is weak (although
probably fine for ssam). You don't say what type
of hard drive you have. That is an easy upgrade
and if you have a 5400 rpm or a small drive, it
could help a lot and and you could reuse it in
your next system.
