Im back............

Well i decided friday night to take out my 60 gb hhd and add a fan.....then i got a call to go look at some peoples computers sat afternoon so with some of the money i got there i decided to buy some of those rounded cables and install another fan in my rig......well to make a long story short it would not boot after i installed the cables....because i had inadvertly bumped my video card :bandhead: ...which for some reason caused the bios to not read any of my PCI cards and after much fiddling...(4 hours) i have gotten everthing to work and im not going back in there again im just going to buy new and build.... :oooo: if something goes wrong.....

the usual problem with that is that the back of the card gets pulled up a small bit. Not a problem
for pci, but for agp it will cause things to fail. many board makers have started adding
clamps (or straps) to the back to keep the card seated. Just something for everyone
to keep in mind if the video is suddenly gone...

I have a similar problem. I installed a new vid card (agp)
and then no screen!!! Then it would work. I turn off and then
the next day it doesn't work again. Working, not working,
working!!! :bandhead: :bandhead: :bandhead: :bandhead:
