I finally understand....

How some people manage to get such low death counts. Spawn kills. It has honestly never occured to me before, because I've always just run around like a madman (hence my usually high death count).

But I was down in the basement of the Hole with the RL, and low and behold, people just kept spawning and spawning right in front of me. A great bounty of free kills. And a totally slimey way to play. But I wanted to see how long it would last. At one point I had 12 or 14 spawn kills in a row.

I thoroughly owned EVERYONE in this game, but the way I did it thoroughly sucked, and I certainly didn't earn this win. But it has opened my eyes. Spawn killing and pup timing (which I also don't do cause I don't usually take pups) are just some of the ways that some people manage those "great" games.

BTW, I've played Doc long enough to know that he doesn't spawn kill (or at least not deliberately - everyone here has spawn killed out of shear opportunity at some point).

Anyway, GG to everyone in this game, and sorry for the way I played.

Heh. Actually I did it twice. I was in the basement 98% of the time. Take control of the basement when a lot of people are playing and you own the game. I must have killed DE 5 or 6 times too. :angel:

The best way to defeat the basement spawn killer is to jump from the shotty hallway (or the upper ledge that has the RL) to the platform at the top of the elevator that runs from the basement, and jump down into the elevator and surprise them with the DBSG. :thumbs:

Btw I was only talking about Hole because it happened several times in this map so far.

GG&#33; I wouldn&#39;t really say that is how I keep a low death count. Although if someone respawns in front of me or near me I will shoot them in the back. I don&#39;t patrol the spawn points, I patrol the whole map. :devil:
