i cant put my finger on it but it appears that the doa server may have been hacked. can anyone tell me the message they get when they try to log in to it, thanks.

If your using a router, check it! My IP address got changed within the router and that would not let anyone see my server, but I could still join other servers! :unsure:

FROM MY LAST POST IN THIS THREAD I AM STILL WORKING ON MY PROBLEM. I HAVE REDONE MY NETWORK SECURITY AND HAVE DONE CLEAN INSTALL ONSIDE OF WORKING ON PROJECTS FOR MY CLIENTS. I AM TIRED AND I AM SUPPOSED TO BE IN NEW JERSEY IN 3 HOURS. I WILL GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS AND FEEL SORRY FOR THE PERSON WHO MAY OF HACKED ME. ITS ALL FUN AND GAMES UNTIL SOMEONE GETS HURT. THIS WILL ONLY BRING THE OLD ME BACK.

Do me a favor BIGG, whatever you do, please don't go public if you do any revenge, I don't want to see you get banned. And it sucks to see your server down after all you've done for DOA and SSSE at GM lately. It's real discouraging to see some of the crap that's going on around here again lately. :bandhead:

Are you sure enumaration and send heartbeat to gamespy is checked? I know it may seem simple but just making sure.

i am sure everything is configured right. that was the first thing i checked. it's either a virus somehow got by or a hack through sam with a virus. i think i know what and who is responsible and am just researching every case at this point. i am still waiting for sas to get back to me so i can discuss something with him.

i am trying to stay cool but the problem as infected my office computer aswell and fear the lost of data. i have been working on restoring everything since my original post in this thread.
