For all of those thinking about building a computer here is a great article. I was going to write one myself but it looks like they covered it pretty well.

Right now, I still take my PC to a near by shop. :)

That was a good article Machine, I also made it a 'Fav'. However, as long as I have Hammer and DirtGod around I'm in good shape. Those guys are whizzes with this stuff....

Tom's Hardware always does thorough, informative looks at things, and this is a guide (much updated since) that I used in prepping for building my first DIY box.

I like Ars very much, too, they have several good reviews on cases. Of course, Anandtech is also a great place to start.

Anandtech (http://www.anandtech.com/)

And AMD Motherboards, a great site to go for help and info on your AMD stuff.

I was also checking out some articles, and i'm planning to make my own PC in the future, and of cource people have diff't opinions on how to make the best one, i'm just waiting for the right time to buy the necessary components for a PC. Has anyone seen any good, up to date motherboards? (price doesn't concern me now)Thanks

There isn't ever a right time. There will always be better faster cheaper hardware coming out. I used to say that if you had extra money to get the biggest monitor you can afford, but now they are cheap also. I'd say to get a radeon 9700, (or similar, soon when the new ones come out). The other stuff is less critical, esp if you can hand it down to others in the family. Some people buy a system and forget it until it becomes obsolete. I am always swapping out hardware and doing os reinstalls. If you want the fastest, it is going to be intel. If you want the most bang for the buck, then amd. USB 2.0 is mandatory, maybe ata-raid. Otherwise I haven't seen any other interesting technologies that really help (ie: serial ata)

Another how-to build page, it takes it's time and is fairly thorough, with some decent hints to first-timers, at Short-Media.com (http://www.short-media.com/article.php?110.0)
