Requirements:

1) Availability:
- 5 to 10 days starting Wednesday, May 7.
- 4 to 6 Hours per day (between 11AM and 6PM).
- Extra availability for additional hours preferred.

2) Location and Transportation:
- You must be in or around Plano, TX area.
- You must have reliable transportation to and from our offices.

3) Age:
- You must be 16 years or older.
- 18+ preferred.

4) Skills and Experience:
- You must have played lots of networked first person games.
- You must be proficient with basic hardware and software of Win PC's.
- Experience playing Halo for Xbox preferred.
- You must speak English.
- You must have good communication and writing skills.


Compensation:

1) Your name in the "Special Thanks" or "Testing" credits.

2) A copy of Halo PC signed by members of dev. team after retail release.

3) Free lunch or dinner every day you're working with us.

4) All the soda and snacks you can consume during work hours.

5) A chance to mingle with dev. team and see inside Gearbox Software.

6) Opportunity to be invited back as a paid tester.

i had to sign a few (yes few) contracts saying i wouldnt talk about the game for 5 years or till its released

but id have that bitch uploaded in a second for you guys if they let us take home the beta we were working with

Really though I don't understand what the issue is,
i thought that xbox was just a modified pc platform,
how come it takes them two years to port the game over ???

well gearbox only started working on it after microsoft gave the go ahead.......which was september 8th

The port has actually only been in development for 8 months.

they didnt want halo to come out right away on pc because it woulda killed xbox sales....and they also wanted to wait till halo 2 had some running ground in the media before the pc version neared completion
