Site Speed Question

Hey guys. How has the site speed been for you lately? Personally, I have had no problems but I know some people have been complaining about it lately. The reason I ask is we have the chance to move to another server. There is no guarantee it would be faster but we could try. The problem is its a pain in the ass to do so I only want to do this if alot of you are having problems.

The last time it was slow for me was last week. It's been ok for me now. :thumbs:

today it's fast for me :thumbs: , yesterday night (around 9:30 pm gmt+1) it was damn slow :unsure: . Most of the time it's fast till 1 pm gmt+1 and then it slows down. But at night it's fast again.

Site speed today is good. But to be honest with you, early mornings lately it has been pathetic. Last week when you did something to speed it up, it was good for a few days, then went downhill. It's been a long time since it has been consistantly smooth in the early AM hours like it was a few months ago.

How about if we start a thread somewhere where the only posts allowed are slow access times with a script execution time included. Maybe that would help give you a better idea of what's going on. :dunno:

It's been fine for me for the last week or so. There were a few days when it was pretty rough to even get into the main forum page before that though.

some of the longer threads are slow, like blabla. But the other threads seem to be pretty fast right now.


edit, when you click to check out someone's profile, sometimes it takes a while to load. Got some 3 seconds, others 10 seconds. :wacko:

Its been good for me lately except about an hour and a half ago it was unviewable for me. I played some sam and came back a while later and it seemed fine again. :WTF:

Early yesterday morning it was baaaaaaaaad! Between 2:30 am and until around 8:00am Michigan time! (I always check it from work) and then when I got home it was slow. When I checked back around 9 or so, it was back up to speed! It seems like it is good one day and then bad the next. Today has been great! :thumbs:
