my print screen button dosent work, my keyboard is worth like $5 so i should probably go buy a new one. has anyone had this problem before?

the buttons are wired in an array. if one of those lines was out, you would have several buttons dead.
otherwise you can try pulling the cap off of the button. there may be a plunger/depressor mechanism
with a spring. you can try cleaning any dust on the contacts. other keyboards are different.
Like you say, it's only a few bucks, not worth wasting too much time over.

i have a question too how can you take a snapshot of your screen and can u do it w/o a printer?

bestway is with software.
worst way is to hit shift-print scrn for entire display or alt-print screen
for current window and then open microsoft paint and do a edit->paste.
you can save it then as a jpg or whatever.

i took the cap off, nothing looked out of place. the keys around it work fine so i dont think its the wiring. i even tried punching it :P still nothing. i think ill just get a new one, lol. thanks for the help. maybe ill take it apart after i get the new one
