did anyone ever had this problem?

I never have a password for my windows, so when I reboot it reboots directly without asking for a password, well I just rebooted and suddently it had a password

I had to start it up in the save mode and delete the password, but how the hell did that password get there?

did I get hacked?

I didnt download Adobe Photoshop 7 today and it didnt work, so I deleted it, can it have anything to do with that? cause I didnt do anything else what I think that could cause this.....

Did you install anything else?? I know some software that if you have it set up to just go to your desktop, after you install it, you will have to type in a password.

well, some bios settings may have changed, and your system may have
redetected network settings and then reloaded associated drivers/services,
including the one for windows logon... there are some other causes, but
I don't remember them...
