Video Capture!

Has anyone ever used it or tried it? I don't remember what software I have, it came with my video card...but generally, I was wondering if anyone ever had any luck with it :WTF:

I've had some success using a Sony Digital Camcoder and a Firewire connection. I was able to capture directly from the camcoder and from a VCR through the camcoder. I used Ulead Video Studio 7. Only draw back was that "rendering" takes forever. But think I can improve that by capturing in a different format. Created a VCD that actually plays on my Onkyo DVD player. :thumbs:

I was going to try and capture right through my video card from various sources...Gamecube, TV...whatever.
Have you had any luck with anything like that?
