I've had some e-mails with a dude at PC Mods (http://www.pcmods.com) about cases and cooling, here's a snippet. I really believe that when water cooling comes pre-sealed, so that you just put it on your CPU and/or video card, fill the tank and turn it on, it will make a big step toward being mainstream.

Thats a great point landon. We actually have a small shipment of just
such a cooler coming into stock in about 2 weeks. It was hard to make the
decision to carry it because it is so easy to use, we are worried that the
performance will suffer somewhat. Anyway, if you come back in two weeks
you may be pleasantly surprised...

Nice, I'll have to check that out.
I too have thought about water-cooling but wouldn't want to fry all my components with one big mistake.

I thought about one too but the thing to keep in mind about water cooling units is you still need fans to cool the water off.

Well, the system I think they'll have will be with the 'heatsink' and all tubing pre-sealed, then you add water to a little radiation unit. However it is, I'm sure it'll cool better than air. If it comes pre-sealed with a gaurantee, that'd be very nice.
