Help

I was about to enter a game through gamespy and saw another server I liked better. When I changed my mind last minute sam got all screwed up and I lost everything. It wiped out my tags in name editor and all the settings I had in Sam.

I re-entered my tag and customized my controls back the way they were.

One problem. I cant look around with the mouse. Everything else seems to be working fine but I can only look forward. I've tried to figure it out but I cant seem to find what controls it.

Try going into -
Players and Controls
Custom Controls
Advanced JoyStick setup

And look at what the - Mounted to - option says
I play with the mouse also and mine reads "Mouse Y"

:bandhead: Everything seemed fine when I adjusted that setting and I can move and look around fine.

What's happening now is that when I strafe my screen slightly see-saws back and forth. I'm able to play but it's a little dizzying. :wacko: :bandhead:

try going into settings, and load from default settings
after that, you may need to turn off look bob, and so forth from the screen before.
the default settings may be hosed, you might need to do a sam reinstall...

Hmm, i think that too

Before Reinstall, copy your player folder, so you will not need to enter the tags again.

I was going to just do a reinstall last night but I was hoping to avoid it because I have a ton of maps, extra skins, mods etc. Let me double check my view bobbing. :thumbs:

You can copy that all things to other folder, and after reinstall, copy it to ss2 folder, so you will not loose anything.

My sam is back to normal now :jammin: View bobbing was on yes....thanx JIM.
