Do you own Baldurs Gate 2? PLEASE read this.

Ok, so I'm not really sure how I should go about this, but if anyone else is interested (need 5 other people for this) I kinda want to organize a Baldurs Gate 2 night over the summer.

The purpose of this would be to play through the gamer together, maybe rollplaying, but maybe just havign fun, whichever you prefer, I figure we could do it like 1/2 nights a week. You don't have to play it all through in one sitting (LOL that would take you 250 hours or so with everything done) and I'm not sure how it works yet, but I'm looking into it, could be alot of fun. I know one or two of you have played the games, so please reply here :)

I dont have it, but a few questions.


- Can you play online like DAOC?

- Do you have to pay monthly to play online? (DAOC)

- How long is the single player game?

1) Not as good but yes
2) Nope
3) About 80 hours for average gamer :thumbs:

80 hours yeah, 250+ if you want to do it 95% (as you cannot really do 100%)

I need to know how far everyone got? (just state where you were, try not to give anything away).

I bought and installed the game 2 weeks ago. Had not really time to play yet so u can guess where I am :wacko:

I liked the first Baldur&#39;s Gate (for GC), and i was looking into getting the second intallment but not being a big RPG fan i haven&#39;t given it much though.

i dont have throne of baal, but you can get the latest BG 2 patch at Fileplanet, just search for BG 2. Gimme 1 more week, I may have some other gamers i know interested, then if everyone patches their game we can set some dates.

I could be interested too. I am almost done playing BG I and I don&#39;t own Bg II yet, but I need to buy it anyways so this would give me a good excuse to do that.

Do you have any idea on when you want to do this? Bain is in Germany so we have a time difference thing that could be an issue....

Well, I&#39;m willing to do it whenever I suppose because I&#39;d like to see Bain play with us. Certain nights aren&#39;t good for me though, like Thursdays......

ive never really played this sort of game
diablo 2 seems fun though and i know its based off that engine
sposed to be better from the reviews i read

Well I think Twitch and me find a good time to play . We only have 1 hour difference :P

I also would like to see you playing with us....

I have time in general: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 1 pm est to 6 pm est but I think I can also play one day maybe till 8 pm est (would be 2 am my time).

Nope Diablo 2 is more an action rpg (fighting all the time) and building a character is more simple than in BG.

It&#39;s more cooperative and some great fun on B.Net....BUT come out patch 1.10 i need you&#33; :unsure:

Ok, those who havent specified times please do so, and if possible, tell me what character you want to play, I was kinda going for a Paladin, but I wouldnt be adverse to playing a Druid either.
