I saw that Zahi Hawaas and other Egyptologists were skeptical, as DNA tests pointed toward this mummy being a 16-yr-old girl, and Nefertiti was believed to have died in her 30s. Still, the mummy had double-hooped earlobes and the arm was bent, which indicate that she was royalty. A few thought that Fletcher was making rash assumptions, which is understandable as she was excited about the find. Either way, I think it might be good for Fletcher, if it gets her some visibility and more grant money to continue working. I find discoveries like this exciting, too.
