But Fatal1ty is definately NOT the best player in UT2003,
there are many people better than him like R0X and GitzZz .. these 2 players weren't @ the league where Fatal1ty was .. but they will kick his ass .. badly ;)

check out the eswc site where the tourney is going on now..see where gitzzz and rox are rated. All behind fat. Fat is the best player in ut, but I think gitzzz can give him a run for his money (maybe dz-lotus as an underdog?). That tourney is like 7000 for the winner and its getting close. I think fat has won all 10 or more of his games except for 2 in which they didnt matter. Should be a close tourney.

GitzZz only used the biorifle in the last tournament with no armor or pu timing and still managed to beat many people.. now that's skill..
But plz.. Fat has an attitude like I'm the best I don't feel good when I'm not the best.. i hate that kind of people.. I would give him a run for his money tho .. but I quited gaming :P

good call with the gitzzz...he came in 1st. Fat came in 3rd although they never actually matched up. Fat beat lotus 2-0 btw for 3rd place. 2nd was zulg (swedish?) who was pretty hot all through the tournament. I really wanted gitzzz to play fat in final but zulg deserved it. Hes def. not **** though.

BTW...i just talked to fat and had a game with him. He says he beat gitzzz 10-2 on compressed for a warmup before gitzz played zulg and he played lotus. He also says he only lost to zulg cause he got a bad spawn on compressed(the rocket spawn). Basically as far as im concerned fat and gitzzz are the top 2 and zulg just got lucky.

fatal1ty is overrated. even in q3 he isnt really &#39;the best&#39;.

of course he is one of the best players but there are many players in q3 who could beat him rather easily, for example ZeRo4, Daler, cha0ticz, cooller (who is considered the best q3 1v1 player in the world right now).

also, he only played and only plays for money, thats why he switched to ut2003, there are far higher rewards there than in q3.
however, its pretty amazing how he could get as good has he is now in ut, having played for only some months.

I think what Zell is saying is that Papa dissing fatal1ty about his UT game is week unless he&#39;s got a demo of him kicking his ass&#33; Anytime a player is on top, people try to bring him down, and eventually for what ever reason, they do fall, whether someone better comes along or they get bored.

As a UT 2k3 player, fatal1ty is a legend, and if you are going to keep posting in a thread that calls yourself a "god" in the game, and dissrespect a legend in the game, you&#39;d better back it up with some screenies of yourself whipping that players ass, not that some other player beat him.

And just because Slayer is a great SSSE player doesn&#39;t mean jack sh&#33;t when it comes to UT 2k3 until he&#39;s beaten fatal1ty, zulg or another top ranked world player. UT 2k3 is totally different from SSSE and your credentials don&#39;t just roll over. Fatal1ty makes money from playing games, he has had TV showes made of him playing, has Papa? Also, the "Sam" comunity is tiny compared to the UT comunity, just look at the amount of servers and players on at any given time. It&#39;s a lot harder to be the best in a game millions play compared to a game a few thousand play.

First of all, ut2k3 is a game in which anyone (any noob) can get pro with the needed hours of practice. So if u play a lot (let&#39;s say 6hours a day) u could get at a toplevel in no time (3months?). Ain&#39;t this what fat did? Sure he&#39;s good (i accept this). He allready was good at Q3 but as i said, because everyone can get really good at ut2k3, it wasn&#39;t that hard for him, also because he doesn&#39;t really have a life (:f) and he trains a lot (5-8h a day or summtin&#39; - i read a interview). Still he got beaten by players who don&#39;t have &#39;gaming&#39; for job.
Conclusion: he ain&#39;t the best player in Q3 (cooller > anyone), neither in ut2k3 (gitzZz). Fatal1ty really lived up to the tourney and trained a long time (much more then other players) and didn&#39;t win the tourney.. says enough doesn&#39;t it?

@ Papa-doc (:love:): Zulg wasn&#39;t really a suprise.. he aimed for a place in the quarter final and practised pretty hard, and he was eager to beat fatality (humiliation at cpl). Zulg also was one of the top ut player.

@ SL802404: I watched the demos (serverside) of the match between zulg and fat (fat was really boring to watch btw ;p) and i&#39;m sure that zulg was the better player in both games. He deserved the win. However, a 1on1 can go eather way and the place of spawn gives u an advantage but won&#39;t deside a match.

First of all, ut2k3 is a game in which anyone (any noob) can get pro with the needed hours of practice. So if u play a lot (let&#39;s say 6hours a day) u could get at a toplevel in no time (3months?) How ignorant can you get?? UT 2k3 is a lot more complexed than Q3 or SSSE, yes a pro gamer can get it down, but any "noob" please, stop :drink:
