Check out this link > http://www.freecolorprinters.com/ These guys are offering basically a free printer and all you have to do is buy the color ink (well, it's a wax printer). Sounds like to initially get going it will cost you around a grand in color to get started but after that is fairly cheap to maintain. I think after 3 years you own it.

I dont think so, printers aren't very expensive nowadays, the ink is the thing that is EXPENSIVE!
Hell i went to compusa a couple weeks ago to get ink for my printer and the guy said id be better off gertting a new once since the price of the ink is so ridiculous!

They've been around but once you add all the cost of ink and maintenance, you'll find that it would've been cheaper to just buy your own.

I think I applied for that several months ago. The key is "estimated number of pages printed per month." I got turned down. I think you have to have a high estimate and then they send and charge you laser cartidges based on this estimate. Xerox is a well founded printer manufacturer. We use a 4635, linky, (http://www.xerox.com/go/xrx/equipment/product_details.jsp?Xcntry=USA&Xlang=en_US&prodID=DP4635&cat=Product+Taxonomy%2fProduction+Systems%2fDocuPr int) where I work. It's a massive, 120 images per minute monster. It also prints MICR, the bottom line on your checks.

Same here. I applied but got turned down because of not enough pages per month. :bandhead:
