Good bye to a dear friend

Well, after many sessions and many huge hits over 300 ft. fences, I had to say goodbye to my buddy that helped me get there....my Miken Velocity Ultra II.

Yes, he was a fine slowpitch softball bat, but due to many injuries and the bats outstanding performance, the ASA (American Softball Association) and Grand Rapids REC Sports, has permanently banned from league play. So, he is going to find a new home in White Cloud, where he is still legal, and hopefully he can maintain his outstanding record of hitting the long ball ('Cause chicks dig the long ball)

He will surely be missed.

So, it is with a heavy heart that the Miken leaves my hands, and is replaced by a Worth WS23 EST.

Im sorry im not a big sports fan (unless u consider gaming a sport, i know i do) but why do these people ban bats! Arent they all alike i mean its a piece a metal that looks like a...well u know!

Without getting into a huge discussion about it, no, the bats aren't all alike. Niether are the balls for that matter. What it is though, is a big pain in the arse....I paid almost 300 bucks for that bat, used it for just over a year, and then it was banned. So now, I have to find a legal bat...that will most likely be banned in the future.

Think of it as nVidia vs. ATI...you want the biggest and the baddest, and when you blink it is ousted by another card that is better. :thumbs:

I went 4-4 last night, and pitched (but then I always do). :devil:
