everytime i try to connect to a public server, this happens...

Strider, open Quake, go to multiplayer, and you'll see on the right side of the page punkbuster enable/disable. you probably have it off. Also, it will take a couple minutes to update the first time you join a public server, so stay in spec for 2-5 minutes. Then you're good to go.

Or if you haven't installed v1.32, You will need to download and install it. Make sure you install punkbusters when it ask you. Here's 2 links where you can get the patch.
