Old Andy has pretty much said it all.
Andy Rooney, now 82 and still ticking, said on 60 minutes a few weeks back:

I like big cars, big boats, big motorcycles, big houses and big campfires.
I believe the money I make belongs to me and my family, not some governmental stooge with a bad comb-over who wants to give it away to crack addicts for squirting out babies.

Guns do not make you a killer. I think killing makes you a killer. You can kill someone with a baseball bat or a car, but no one is trying to ban you from driving to the ball game.

I believe they are called the Boy Scouts for a reason, that is why there are no girls allowed. Girls belong in the Girl Scouts! ARE YOU LISTENING MARTHA BURKE?

I think that if you feel homosexuality is wrong, it is not a phobia, it is an opinion.

I don’t think being a minority makes you a victim of anything except numbers. The only things I can think of that are truly discriminatory are things like the United Negro College Fund, Jet Magazine, Black Entertainment Television, and Miss Black America.

Try to have things like the United Caucasian College Fund, Cloud Magazine, White Entertainment Television, or Miss White America; and see what happens. Jesse Jackson will be knocking down your door.

I have the right “NOT” to be tolerant of others because they are different, weird, or tick me off.

When 70% of the people who get arrested are black, in cities where 70% of the population is black, that is not racial profiling, it is the Law of Probability.

I know what sex is, and there are not varying degrees of it. If I received sex from one of my subordinates in my office, it wouldn’t be a private matter or my personal business. I would be “FIRED” immediately!

I believe that if you are selling me a milk shake, a pack of cigarettes, a newspaper or a hotel room, you must do it in English!

As a matter of fact, if you want to be an American citizen, you should have to speak English!

My father and grandfather didn’t die in vain so you can leave the countries you were born in to come over and disrespect ours.

I think the police should have every right to shoot your sorry self if you threaten them after they tell you to stop. If you can’t understand the word “freeze” or “stop” in English, see the above lines.

I feel much safer letting a machine with no political affiliation recount votes when needed. I know what the definition of lying is.

I don’t think just because you were not born in this country, you are qualified for any special loan programs, government sponsored bank loans or tax breaks, etc., so you can open a hotel, coffee shop, trinket store, or any other business.

We did not go to the aid of certain foreign countries and risk our lives in wars to defend their freedoms, so that decades later they could come over here and tell us our constitution is a living document; and open to their interpretations.

I don’t hate the rich. I don’t pity the poor. I know pro wrestling is fake, but so are movies and television. That doesn’t stop you from watching them.

I believe a self-righteous liberal or conservative with a cause is more dangerous than a Hell’s Angel with an attitude.

I think Bill Gates has every right to keep every penny he made and continue to make more. If it ticks you off, go and invent the next operating system that’s better and put your name on the building. Ask your buddy that invented the Internet to help you. (Al G.)

It doesn’t take a whole village to raise a child right, but it does take a parent to stand up to the kid; and smack their little behinds when necessary, and say “NO!”

I disagree with you, but understand where you&#39;re coming from. I am a conservative and I believe that God created each and every one of us as equals. I don&#39;t think that this entitles some nationalities to a free ride. With that being said, foreigners who ARE willing to put in the effort shouldn&#39;t have a problem getting into the swing of things. Believe me, I should know. Being in Austin, I see my fair share of illegals around town. But you&#39;d be surprised at how quick they pick things up and before you know it, they are equipped to work most anywhere in America (ie. speak english, good social integration, etc).

well after reading the post that boston posted, i said to myself i agree with who ever actually says those things and have said the same things way before anyone ever presenting the post.

now another funny thing i notice in all of these kinds of posts is the mention od biggd will like this. now in away i know why people say this but some think i like these subjects because they think i am a rascist and why do they think that???? i will explain...

once upon a time i used an alias name. the name was called white pride. i was attacked by a few people to whom i will not mention since it&#39;s old news but they called me a rascist because of that name. now still to this day i would fight to death in a face to face battle to ever let someone say i can not have pride. now the thing that is bs is that if i was a black or hispanic or anything other than white and used EXAMPLE "BLACK PRIDE" that would be considered ok and not rascists. now where does all this add up? because all the above rascists are considered minorities and to all them (non-white) they claim that they are being held down by the white man. i think it&#39;s completely bullsh.. and the only one that can hold you down is yourself. if you ask me if i think white people are racsist i would say if they were there would still be slaves and all these people that come here would not come here. if you ask me who the minority is i would say the white man is. why? because the white man has to compete with all non whites and the laws. what do i mean? EXAMPLE;i took a test for ny state corrections almost 5 years ago. i did very well on the test. say i scored a 92 on the test. anyone who was non-white got 10 points added to there test before they took it. so if you were a non-white person and scored a 83 you would of been hired before me. well after almost waiting 2 years they called me in for physical. i decided thatob paid like crap and if i had to be locked up with the people i thought deserved death would not be a good thing.

ummm, the political point just polarizes, no real point to it.
people have very strong opinions about it either way.

this amazes me. how can what who ever written this be called a racist? what if the actual person who wrote it was not white? what would that make him? this is always my problem withthese kinds of posts that just get me worked up (but i cool). it seems that if someone who says something that mentions ones feeling or opionion he is a racist or bigot. the fact is there are many people that feel the same way. i am one of them and i hate no one because of there race. my problem or anger is based on those that feel they deserve something extra for there race. this is the way our gov&#39;t works which i hate. if we had a voting system in place where we actually got to vote where our tax money goes than i guarantee we wouldnt have these problems. as far as his comments go for the united negro fund or bet. i am ok with that. i think that should be fine and am not insulted that these things exist. i am insulted because there isnt a white college fund or a white channel(i wonder what they would show if they did?). this is what who ever wrote this article was saying. he is free to express his feelings. it bothers him as it bothers many. i guess the people this would really bother are the people that are getting the breaks or special treatment. all i know i take pride knowing i will never ask the tax payers to support me or ask them for something for free. i will work my tail off and raise my family the best way i can. i will shovel crap if i have to. this should go for everyone. :thumbs:
