Do you remember the good old days last year? I remember in June I saw every MERC and every OUTLAW playing Serious Sam and I could never join a server because they were always full. I remember when I was a n00b and someone helped me get colors in my name. I remember when their was no such thing as a rocket whore and when Shotty Trouble was never being thought of. But the most important thing I remember, is Croteam saying they have rewritten the netcode and the patch will be out very soon. And they also said it would be out within 2 weeks...I remember....

It started in Jan for me, but the servers were still busy then.
Nowadays there is one Merc still playing and about 4 outlaws.
That and the occasional alias.
Freeze tag is apparently the greener pasture.
I just find sam to be much more fun...

Well just have to wait for a Sam sequel (dont worry it coming)!

It's only natural that games die and are replaced by better ones. When Croteam creates a better game than whats out now, we'll all return.

Actually if you still crave a MERC sighting, come play Quake freeze tag. Myself, Fastway, DE, Slik, and Nighthawk are there.

I played it for about 6 months. But I think we all had a blast back in the day. :D

yea i remeber when the thing to do was to beat a merc, and i think i managed it like twice, go figure :rolleyes: i also remeber when everyone wanted to start a clan and some did. I had one going for a while. you guys remeber UTW, but do you remeber what it stands for?... :hmmm:

Sam was a lot of fun. It seemed like the lag kept getting worse the more we played. My pings are in the 50&#39;s-60&#39;s playing Quake3&#33; :jammin:
