Ok, I know in code to call a pic up, the code is like:
<img src=url> or something very close to that.
My question is that I have a flash file, .swf extension that I want to put in there instead of that line. How do I call it up?? :WTF:

Thanks Forrest! I was trying to put in a flash pic (animation) into a script and for some reason it didn't like it at all. So I converted it to a GIF and was able to maintain the quality. Just now others can right click and save the pic. That is before I put a copywrite on it

Lord forbid if anyone were to figure out how to view source! BTW, how do you like my new tags?

You can do that Jim, but you can't save it to your puter though :P Well most can't, there are programs that you can pay for to snatch flash, but anyway

Flash usually is a lot less in size though. Did you compare the file size of the 2?

I doubt that Grimmy is too concerned with someone stealing his tags. They wouldn't last too long if they started messing with it. And I think that goes for anyones tags here. It is a matter of personal identity, and should be respected.
Just out of curiosity, can to take the swf file and load it into Flash to see how it was created? I've never used Flash.

That's it Jim, you and me, Q3 Freeze tag  :shifty:
Slice, the file sizes were that same that I know of. But you are right, I have taken some mpeg's and converted them to flash, and cut down the file size tremendously! Like from 10 megs to under a meg. :jammin:
Sirc, that I know of you can't. You have to have the .fla file. But you might be able to import it and maybe see how it is made, never tried it before. I know you can edit over top of it though

Oooh! Now that's interesting. :hmmm:
Is there much loss in quality?

You can't reverse enginner a swf file. You need to have the original fla file but you can use that swf file as the basis of a new fla file.

A little, but not as much as you would think. It's sorta like the demo that Sal posted. He said it was like over 400 megs, and he then coded it with Divx and got it down to 4 megs. Still good enough to see it and all, and don't lose much quality.
Sal you are right, you can import that movie, animation or whatever, but you can't change it, see really how it is built, just what it looks like maybe frame by frame.
I wub flash! Copywrite all in one :jammin:
