View Full Version : SSSE quirk when typing

In game, when I hit the ~ and type something it appears on the screen with a preceeding capitol F -
(that i did not put there)

How do i correct this?

Thanx abiut te avatar! :thumbs: Anyway when i write messeges in Sam usually code text preceeds it (from Name Editor) maybe thats whats wrong, the code from SE could be that 'F' but im not really sure?? :unsure:

you have to close your tags
ie if you use colors, add a ^C to the end
flashing, add a ^F to the end
italic, add a ^I
bold, a ^B
etc

I've had that happen before. And I use the Game Editor too. But I don't think it happens now (after a complete reinstal). I think the Game Editor can be pretty flaky, and can corrupt the ini file that it modifies.

Does it do it when you use the F1 key?
I use the F1 key, type my message, hit enter, and then hit the F1 key again.
