Arc the Lad - PS2

Has anyone played this game? I'm looking for a new RPG and this game is getting some good reviews and looks pretty good.

Neither have I. I got about 25 hours in and it started to get damn hard. How far did you get? I am sitting at the boss in the Song of Nephlin.

Gah...I just finished the first Kos-Mos simulation. I started to find the combat system really cumbersome that soon, so I have been putting way to much time into PSO for the GameCube. But, long weekend around the corner, I may do a marathon on Xenosaga this weekend.

We were talking about Xenosaga but yea, I&#39;ll probably buy Arc tonight.

Wow&#33; I feel special, I mean my dad got Xenosaga less than a month ago and he already beat it... TWICE ACTAULLY&#33;

Anyway my dad saw Arc teh Lad and he was like "Hey I might get that it looks cool" but still hasnt gotten it yet.

Well I picked up Arc tonight and I&#39;m about an hour in and it is pretty cool. The battle system resembles Final Fantasy Tactics which is a nice surprise.

The last game I finished was Kingdom Hearts early this year.

7 hours in and the game is still kicking ass. The story is really good and I like the Final Fantasy Tactics touch. It almost feels like to different games in the beginning because the story goes between 2 main chacters. I assume they will eventually meet and the story will go from there.

Sounds great, now im not a big RPG fan (not a t all)but i have heard great things about ATL (arc the lad), its based off of an anime film, or some series i belive, anyway i dont know about graphics or gameplay i just heard its REALLY long&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;
