View Full Version : How do you delete posts?

Maybe I'm just being dense, but I can't find any way to delete a post I have made. I have been getting several double posts because the forums are a bit slow now and then. Anyone know how to do it, or if it can even be done?

That's happening to me too. (Not the touching stuff :P ) I've been deleting them in our sections. I think the admins can do it in here and of course the mods in their sections.

I'm starting to think that something is borked on the forums. It NEVER goes back to the thread now after I post. Also the Topic Review window doesn't fully come up anymore. Everything else seems to be running pretty fast.

Sometimes it works right and sometimes it just sits there. When it doesn't work right after hitting the submit button, Just go up to the section button (In this case the General button), Your post will be there. If you hit the submit button three times you will have three post. Heck today somehow I was able to post two pictures in the same post. Something freaky is going on. :shock:

I have not been able to access the extra smilies screen for 3 days. The window pops up but the smilies never load. :(

I have not tried it from home today but I am having no problems from work. Everything is loading just fine, smilies and all. Try resetting your modem and deleting cache files.

I don't know what else to try dude. If there are problems with the forum it will show up on my flakey ass connection at home though. Here at work because of what we do and the servers and ISP service we have we are tapped into the backbone with a big fat pipe. I download stuff at 4-5mb per second :shock: . I downloaded a 130 meg file in 30 seconds. I will try in the morning when I get off work and let you know.

Not sure, I think it could be the server that this site it on, the sever just experiencing some heavy traffic. I get that sometimes too, post something, and it won't load and then get the can't display page page.

I just hit back and maybe refresh and it works fine. Haven't double posted yet.

Also, if you can't delete them, you can edit them, just put edit inplace of your whole message. Seen that done a lot!

Well now that I am back at home I am having the smilie problem also. When I click on view more the window pops up but nothing loads :( . Haven't posted yet to see if I have the other problem yet, so I quess it is time to spam a little :D .

Having the posting problem too. I just got stuck so instead of hitting stop and then submit again I just clicked the link at the top. The server is choking or something . I noticed the preview of the previous posts at the bottom isn't loading either.

I'll look into the problems. I seem to be having the same ones.
