Vancouver is hosting the 2010 winter olympics!

it was announced today that vancouver won the vote.. Salzburg was voted out first round quite suprisingly.

itll be cool to have the olympics in my home town. this is gonna be sweet! :w00t:

hahaha yeah its mostly in whistler, i think some of the other events will be in vancouver though... they will be building alot of new things. :cool:

Whistler Village is an hour and a half outside of Vancouver.
It is an amazing resort.
I&#39;ve been a couple of times.
