Do i have to uninstall 2002 to install 2003 or should i just run the setup for 2003 and not uninstall 2002?

Sac I would un-install 2002, Then start fresh with 2003.
Remember to undo your email scanning settings before uninstalling.

I agree. You should always start fresh when installing some new software, avoid the upgrade. Symantec's installer is generally very clean and thorough, but you never know.
