Cable Vs Dialup

Hey all :wave: Havn't been on in a little while, I got tired of paying outrageouse price for cable internet and am trying out dial up, boy, talk about a difference. Dial up sucks but then again so does $49.95 a month for cable internet. I tried to get in a game last night but the PINGS!!!, the PINGS !!! Un flicking believeable :bandhead: Well I guess I will see how long I can take it.

I have xdsl, 256/128. I pay 150kr.(about 25$). a month. Not a perfect connection, but to that price it is o.k.

I dream about 512/512, which, after what i have heard, shut be a very good game connection.

512/512 wont help u in SS on Outlaw server i can tell u that it still sucks :bawling:

I know Dial-UP sux, but sometimes DSL sux, too :shifty: i mean downloading with 10 - 20 KB/s :down:
My fastest normal DL rate was with 70 KB/s, but with accelerator -240 KB/s :w00t: (really, i dled it at www.download.com) :rofl:

for my dsl i have to pay 25&#036;/month plus 50 cent everyday i&#39;m connected :WTF:

I have DSL 576/?? (what is and how do you know this other bit?)

On Outlaws servers my ping is aboput 250 but the lag
is terrible, in fact the last 2 weeks it is getting worse :bandhead:

On Crazy&#39;s sever the lag is better as too on Outlaws UK server :thumbs:

I pay £22.50 (about &#036;14 per month) :cool:

DSL owns Dial-Up anyday, i thinks its cheaper than cable. so try it out, its what i hae and my pings r alot better than they were on dialup&#33;
