Lans are awesome, I live in Biloxi, MS which is about 2-3 hours from Shreveport, LA. If its a public lan you guys hold, I might attend one for the hell of it.

Well between my wife and I we had 2 1/2 cases, Hammer and Dirtgod had their own and Machine had a case I think. Dixie and PI had a few wine coolers. All in all we had a very good time. Great friends, Great gaming, Great food and drinky...lol

I think Shogun had an extra, but not everyone was playing all the time. there were usually several not being used at a time due to beer breaks, ciggy breaks, munchie breaks, etc.

I'm not totally sure, But I would have to say Chico and myself by just a hair because we are running 2200+ with DDR333 Ram. It didn't help us 'cause Hammer and Machine still kicked our butts. :wink: They are really something to watch in person! :shock: Chico did get one win.

Another fun one to try at LAN's is Quake3 team deathmatch - humans against the bots on the hardest difficulty settings. Though you uber quake heads might find that yawn-inducing. <rolls eyes>

I've hooked up serveral machines on quite a few occasions now, and actually managed an F9 at one stage! Ahh Sam, how i love to hate thee... <glances at box art and hisses quietly>

Oh, lest i forget - one more fun thing to do at LAN's is to order 2 pizza's and contrive to have Pathos pay for them on his birthday.

Not that i'm bitter... <single glistening tear rolls down cheek>
