I have the chance to pick one up for $139.00
Not too sure it's worth the cash though.
Every other one I looked at is at least 2 bills.

I just don't know anything about them. the Pioneer DVR-105 costs about $175 at Newegg.

I have a Iomega CD burner and a Zip drive, and have never had problems with them. I have an old Buz video capture card that's useless, because Iomega stopped updating the drivers long ago.

I think the main thing to look for is the DVD formats. Are you getting the Iomega all-format drive, or one of the DVD+/-RW drives? Some set top DVD players can't read the +/-RW format. You might be better off getting a DVD burner that supports DVD-R or DVD+R.

I have a Pioneer DVD-R a105, and it's been great.

 Whocares

I don't know much about Iomega.. But I used to have an external zip drive

from that company and I remember hearing that many of the external drives

were not well built.. I have a new version of the Iomega external zip drive

and it has greatly improved from the original one, as with many technological

devices. To say the truth, it sounds like a great deal and if there is a

warranty......
