Zell, i hope you get your ISP straightened out, from the few minutes I was in the web admin, it looked scary. Everyone elses ping was fine, but your's was all over the place, plus the swearing was a big clue ;) But it's not the server, it's your ISP. Slap them please.

How are you all ranked ahead of |PURE| when they are 3-0 and you are 0-0? hahaha I just don't get how ladders work sometimes :P

PURE and Xeno are AWESOME teams. Some of the best players out there. Good luck if you play either of those two teams :)

What are the maps selected? Is there anyway to spectate?

Thanks for the input, we know we're in it deep, but it's a good measuring stick to see how far we've come and were we need to go. we got some saddening screenies from last time we played them, so we'll see how much better we are, or aren't ;)

Dunno about spectating, but Grendelkeep, Antalus and campgrounds arew the maps, if it's on our server, maybe you can spectate, or there will be demos. Don't know about theirs.

oh yeah pure i know. no problem with the server.

me and chaotic both have this similiar problem (although it happens to me more) we have 2 computers and when someone is on the other one just browsing the not or something else net related, we get the bad end and gives us a **** ping!!!


oh and the swearing... that was part of the sentences I was yelling out loud. I better watch my mouth next time if I wana keep my computer. :w00t:

Zell - ive got the same problem with my ping. ive got 2 computers connected through a router to my DSL and if the other is on while i am playing my ping jumps, although not quite as bad as yours, it is hard to play with. i just make sure the other is OFF when I am playing!

I have the same problems.. and have for well over a year now, Zell. I will ping anywhere from 60-200 within the course of a single game. It fluctuates wildly and I never know when I shoot if it is really gonna shoot, or wait a second first.

Ive come to the conclusion that I am just on a node that has a lot of traffic. maybe a lot of people on my block have my ISP.. I dunno.

Sucks tho :/

I see Red join games with 40-50 pings and I hate him :)

make sure you dont have a trojan and have someone downloading off you that was the reason my ping shot :wootrock:
