Really, we took our daughter, Savanna with us, so I was busy entertaining her at the swimming pool and shopping trips for most of the time. I did get to know everyone better over breakfast this morning.

Thanks to Lash for setting it up and Jill, Lash&#39;s wife...she helped me entertain Savanna and get around town to do some shopping...I&#39;m directionally challenged. :wacko:

hi all just got in 12:30 am. mark my word---i will never drive more than 300 miles again. that drive was hell. i drove 1600 miles in less than 48 hours. all i can say is--it was well worth it. it was great to meet everyone there. everyone was so nice and i enjoyed everyones company. i need to get some sleep right now because i am very tired and driving back home with a slight hangover was rough.

Thank you Jag and Sepra for giving me a ride to and from the lan, it would&#39;ve been a hell drive without you two. Jag and Sepra are wonderful people and it was a privilege to spend so much time with them&#33;

Great to finally meet {DS} Chaotic and his father Tom. Chaotic is a great young man and his father is a good man. It was nice to see a proud father showing so much interest and support for his son&#39;s gaming. Also hats off to Chaotic for winning worst gaming PC, but with it, taking most valuable gamer&#33; :jammin:

Machine and Dixie, wow, was great to finally meet you. Machine is responsible for introducing me to the Gummi clan, and gave me a sweet deal on my gaming pad. It was great to be playing next to you and observe your mad gaming skills and to see your set up for gaming. Dixie, what a great Mom, Wife, and Gamer, I enjoyed watching you with you daughter and our conversation at our group breakfast.

Punisher, the Gods are fotunate to have such a good man in their clan. For someone so soft spoken, you sure kicked att in the games. I also enjoyed looking over your shoulder to steal some tips to improve my game :wave: Thanks you for playing some UT too. :jammin:

Me BIGG, we all are glad you made such a huge effort to join us at the lan :thumbs: It was great to finally meet you. Most people don&#39;t get the opportunity to meet you outside the forum, that&#39;s too bad. You showed great generosity to Chaotic with taking the time to help improve his PC and to upgrade his graphics card and many other pieces. I know he appreciated it and so does {DS}, he was already a fine player with 600x 400 resolution, but now that he sees more than just a bunch of small squares on his screen, look out gamers&#33; :w00t: As for the memorable night out on the town :blink: WOW&#33; I&#39;ve never seen anyone warm up a room full of strangers like you did at the other tables&#33; Including the ones that showed up at the Hotel&#33; :w00t: Famous Bigg quotes, " Put the kank in Skank&#33;", "mushy", "Do I make you uncomfortable?", "Are you moist?" there are many more, but we had a great time&#33; Nice to see you make about 10 new friends at the bars.


Goober, nice to meet you finally, I was glad that you took out some time to play a few games and join us for breakfast. To hear your comments and laughter while gaming was refreshing.

Now that I have had some sleep I would like to comment on the LAN party. Although I was going to bail out on it due to the exhausting week and schedule I had from work, I am truly glad I decided to go.

Regarding the hosts of the LAN party….

Lash—I want to thank you for setting this up along with Goober. I want to let you know it was a pleasure to meet you and your wife. Although we have spoken on the phone and have always communicated through e-mail/ pm’s, meeting in person was great. You both are truly good people and fun. I wish there was more time I that I could of dedicated to hanging with everyone there because I had a lot of fun and will definitely be honored if you would have me at your next one.

Goober- I want to thank you for setting this up along with Lash. I really had a lot of fun and was happy to get to meet you and your lovely family. Your wife is an extremely nice person (with a hell of a right hook so do not step out of line with her :P ). Your family was great and I felt welcomed by all of them. Thank you for that and let them know I said thanks for being kind to me. I am sorry I didn’t get to try that possum stew but maybe next time. I also want to say that I hope everything works out for you and your dad with his health. Your dad is in my prayers.


Regarding the people that were there and participated….

Punisher---You are a great guy and I am happy to have had the chance to meet you. Although you are very quiet you are very kind and respectful to everyone. I wish we had more time to get to know each other in what little time we had.

Machine-Dixie--& the LIL angel—It was great to meet you all in person. From my observance, I see you as a happy family. I also consider you both very good parents. It was great chatting with you guys and meeting you in person. My respect for you all has grown more since we met. (do me a favor and make a funny looking face stick out your tongue and go blahhhhhhh to the little one and say it was from me :P )

Pure-Evil---You are another person who I have communicated in the forums and also msn. I always considered you a friend before this LAN party and was happy to finally meet you in person. You are an outstanding person and I have a lot of respect for you. Although you have had been under a lot of stress, I am happy you were still able to make it. Thanks for hooking me up with the cd full of patches and installing them on my machine. I want you to know that you can always call on me if you need to or just want to talk. You are not that far from where I live and hope we can hangout sometime (I promise not to ask anyone if they are moist :P ).

JAG & Sepra---First I just want to say thank you for thinking of me and buying me Quake3. It was very nice of the both of you for that and I am extremely grateful for it. I also want to say it was a pleasure to meet such a nice married couple. You two were very nice and an inspiration to any married couple. I am happy when ever I see a great couple do things together and have the same enjoyment doing so. That also goes for Machine and Dixie. I really enjoyed meeting the both of you and getting to hangout and have a few drinks. I hope to one day meet you again and maybe I can pay for the dinner this time. I also would like to thank Jag for driving me back to the hotel so I would not get arrested in Tennessee. It was a lot of fun and I just wish we had more time. Thanks for being such great and warm people. The world is a better place with people like you guys. You guys are a beautiful couple and really great people to be around.

Black Rose—Hi my German friend. I hope I didn’t make you to nervous. I just want to say it was nice to have had the chance to meet you. You are a very nice person and I want to thank you for the chocolate you brought from Germany. I will give it to my wife and I am sure she will love it. I think it was very nice of you to make it to the LAN party coming from Germany. I also plan on returning to playing Sam again and get back my techniques I once had. My ass still hurts for all the beatings you gave me in the games. I could not believe how could you were and have become in Sam. It was fun just watching you play the game and hearing you giggle when you fragged someone. I will return to my skills soon and then I will avenge those losses. Thanks for being so kind.


Everyone---I really had a lot of fun and wish there were more events like this (not that I would be invited). It will go in my book of great memories. Everyone was great and very nice and I enjoyed them all. I hope wasn’t too weird to anyone as I was just having fun with great people. I hope we do this again and more people come. Next time I go anywhere I plan on flying so I can be a little more alive with full energy. I feel I have become closer to those that were there (I just hope you guys don’t keep more distant after meeting me).
