What kind of pages are opening. Are they pop-up ads? What do they say at the title bar? Anything to do with messenger service? I am thinking either it is messenger service or you need a pop-up blocker.
:hmmm:

I use this pop-up blocker. It has worked great the last couple of weeks. Seems to let the ones I want alone and just blocks advertisements. The 3792 in the bottom right corner is the amout of pop-ups it has terminated since I installed the program.

Also you might want to get rid of spyware on your system.
I use Ad-aware and spybot. Ad-aware works great and I clean it out at least once a week.
