384k or more?? [Archive] - GameMecca Forums

I have DSL with 384 up and download speeds according to DSLreports. My question is, would there be any benefit for me to upgrade to a 700+ or T1 if I only play online and not host any??? You'll have to excuse my ignorance, I've only been playing online since May and not totally up on all this online stuff :oops:

Well...personally, I think you should do the upgrade, and host a GameMecca.net game server! :)

I have only one computer right now and at least SS:SE dosn't play well for me when I host on it. Although I am in the proccess of getting a new system so that could be a possibility :D

like I always say, the more the better. The more you have, to more people you can host on your server.
